Advantages of Above and Beyond Aerial Imaging:
We provide our clients with professional elevated or low level aerial photographs which add impact to any property presentation without the need to hire expensive aircraft. We shoot stunning and unique images which are unobtainable using traditional ground based photographic techniques.Our vantage point is unique. We photograph from ground level to around 120 metres (or 0 to 400ft). This is usually high enough to get a real sense of the location, views and perspective, but low enough to capture the entire property and all its architectural details, attributes, charm and character.
By having a choice of aerial platforms, we can select either the mast or blimp to ensure the ‘right platform’ for the job. The tethered blimp and pneumatic mast system carry state-of-the-art high resolution, 10.1 MP professional digital camera equipment. A video monitor allows the operator to view exactly what the camera sees in real time and via remote control, frame the perfect image.
The mast and blimp are both extremely manoeuvrable. The blimp can be easily ‘walked’ and ‘launched’ anywhere on the property or surrounding area to locate the optimal vantage point, height and angle to achieve the perfect image. The mast can be positioned anywhere a car can be driven. Operational limitations may exist however when there are unavoidable overhead power lines or dense tree foliage.
The photographs can be carefully composed and taken from any altitude or angle in real time, while the camera may be repositioned and images recomposed as many times as necessary. This ensures that the ‘best’ photographs are obtained.
As the mast and aerial blimp operate silently, we can discreetly photograph your property without disrupting the neighbourhood or surrounding environment. We can stay on site longer to get that ‘perfect’ image. (The noise of helicopters, aircraft and mini-copters are not neighbourhood friendly).
Our aerial camera system covers heights higher than a ladder and lower than an aircraft. We are substantially cheaper and more flexible than hiring a helicopter, fixed wing airplane or even a cherry picker or crane.
The tethered blimp can be carried on and launched from a boat to photograph waterfront property or launched from below an elevated hillside home while still allowing us to capture an image ‘taken from above’. This is great for pole and mountainside homes and for homes in inaccessible areas.
We can accurately shoot proposed views for high-rise developments prior to construction. This is done by positioning the camera platform at eye height for each floor level (1.7m above the nominated slab height). The camera can then be rotated 360˚ to capture the full surrounding views.
